Heinrich^{[Note 1]} (Japanese: ハインリヒ Heinrich) is a playable Abyssal character in Genshin Impact.Heinrich, also known as The Valiant or Noire, is the disciple of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah. He is a companion who accompanies the Traveler throughout their adventure in Teyvat as their guardian and adopted brother.

ㅤㅤㅤ— "The Visionary" VedrfolnirHeinrich is the disciple of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah. He was born with an affliction, immortality that predates Celestia's authority. His mother shares the same affliction, causing their age to naturally span beyond that of normal human life. Because of this, he was a notable figure in both the Crimson Moon Dynasty, and Eclipse Dynasty.

• Although "Noir" is the correct spelling, many in Teyvat often refer to him as "Noire" and he decided to keep it to avoid the awkward feeling afterward.

• During his first phase of development, he was an Inazuma hairdresser. In his second phase, he was a Fatui General. It wasn't until his final phase where he became a prominent Khaenri'ahn figure.

• Despite common speculation, he did not achieve two visions on his own. His other vision comes from his mother, Thrunva, before she succumbed to the Abyss during the Cataclysm. He did this as her burning will involved protecting him through spirit while she physically could not.

Heinrich is an introverted character compared to his earlier years. His sense of humility and righteousness is sometimes compared to that of The Captain of the Fatui Harbingers. When praised for his accomplishments, he rather avoids agreeing them and insists the collective work of those alongside him deserve equal amounts of credit. Although Heinrich's potential for exploration was limited due to his duties, he remembers much of the notable events throughout history that involved the Abyss Order, or the Archons and their actions. He notes that survivors of the Fall of Khaenri'ah are filled with rage and agony, but none to his knowledge compare to the hatred that Dainsleif feels. He accompanies the Traveler on their journey throughout Teyvat, keeping a sharp eye for activity of the abyss. Deep down, there is a sense of responsibility for the destruction caused by the Abyss Order due to his lack of knowledge surrounding the Four Pillars and Universitas Magistrorum. When he awakened during the events of Inazuma, he considered full retirement from the loss of hope, until the Travelers and Paimon had shown up.
